ARA-290 Peptide Research
ARA-290 is a synthetic 11-amino-acid peptide derived from the helix B surface of erythropoietin (EPO), engineered to activate the innate repair receptor (IRR) without stimulating red blood cell production or carrying the thrombotic risks of full EPO. Research has explored its applications in neuropathic pain, particularly in small fiber neuropathy, as well as systemic inflammation, metabolic syndrome, tissue repair, and sarcoidosis. ARA-290 represents a novel approach to separating EPO’s tissue-protective properties from its hematopoietic activity. This section covers current scientific studies on ARA-290 and its neuroprotective, anti-inflammatory, and regenerative research applications.
