DSIP Peptide Research
DSIP (Delta Sleep-Inducing Peptide) is a naturally occurring neuropeptide originally isolated from the cerebral venous blood of rabbits during slow-wave sleep induction, studied for its regulatory roles in sleep architecture, circadian rhythm synchronization, and HPA axis modulation. Research has explored its ability to promote delta sleep, reduce sleep-onset latency, normalize disrupted sleep patterns, and modulate cortisol and stress hormone levels. Studies have also investigated DSIP’s potential in pain management, opiate withdrawal, and endocrine regulation. This section covers scientific studies on DSIP and its applications in sleep science, circadian biology, and neuropeptide research.
